This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Ann Gorbett
Ann Gorbett paints exclusively with a palette knife to create her oil paintings because of the thick, painterly strokes of color she can create with it. Her work ranges in subject matter from city scenes to florals to figurative paintings based on nostalgic family photographs. Ann currently lives and paints in Walpole Massachusetts. She holds a fine art degree from Miami University of Ohio and has worked as a professional graphic designer in Boston for many years. She began painting in oil again in 2008 after taking a palette knife workshop and was immediately hooked.
